Safari Float by Raft
Our Safari Float on the Penas Blancas River offers a great way of enjoying the abundant wildlife surrounding the river. On our rafts, an expert naturalist guide will do all the paddling, allowing you to relax like the iguanas sunning themselves on the nearby branches. You will have plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the rainforest canopy teeming with monkeys or catch a closer look at many species of tropical birds through your binoculars.
Guests float on the river for approximately two hours before arriving at a local working farm, the owner of which is a well known Costa Rican horse breeder and trainer. His wife makes delicious typical style foods like yucca breads, homemade cheeses, sweet fried plantains, and serves these treats with our world-famous Costa Rican coffee made the old-fashion way. Everything you eat at this farm comes directly from their own land!
During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the local botanical and animal life in addition to geography and history.
